Four months after the spectacular launch of Vogue Adria in Belgrade, where guests from the region and around the world gathered at Hall 1, an iconic 1950s cultural landmark, for a glamorous and emotional gala, Vogue Adria made its way to Paris.

This time, the event celebrated the start of a month dedicated to the strength of the human spirit and the magazine’s latest sports issue—which features one of the greatest tennis players in history, Novak Djokovic, on the cover. It was only fitting that the event was hosted by Jelena and Novak Djokovic, who created a positive atmosphere and gave guests an unforgettable evening. Among the attendees were Anna Wintour, Baz Luhrmann, Pelagia Kolotorous, Tamara Kalinic, and Lindsey Vonn, who gathered in one of Paris’s most magnificent gardens.

The Grand Jardin, located at the Ritz Paris hotel on Place Vendôme, is one of the most beautiful squares in Paris and has hosted some of the world’s most important events for over a century—including last month’s Vogue World: Paris.

Last night, Vogue returned to the hallowed space, which once again proved to be a magical location for a summer evening. As a jazz band provided a musical backdrop, guests enjoyed sensational bites crafted by some of the world’s top chefs, who turned fine dining into a one-bite experience with creamy Parmigiano risotto and strawberry cake.

Just before the sun set, Novak and Jelena delivered welcoming remarks and expressed their gratitude to Vogue Adria and Wintour for bringing together so many sports enthusiasts; editor in chief Milan Djacic then thanked all the guests for taking the time to celebrate Vogue Adria’s summer issue and the partners of the night Lacoste, Alix Partners, and ASKO.

The next few days in Paris will see incredible excitement with the commencement of the Olympic Games Paris 2024. And for Novak, who will play his opening singles match for Serbia over the weekend, the night offered a quintessentially Parisian pre-party for what’s sure to be a very memorable week—one that, hopefully, involves a certain colored medal for the tennis star.
