VLADDY’S NEW ‘DO

For years, Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero has rocked dreadlocks — until this past week, when he showed up at batting practice with a much shorter ‘do.

And even though he and his teammates are tight, it seems like none of his fellow Blue Jays knew of the makeover that the first baseman had planned, Dan Bilicki reported.

But they and Jays fans were, well, fans of the new look.

FLASHING FAN TO HATERS: ‘F– you if you don’t like it’

The Edmonton Oilers fan who flashed her breasts at a recent game had a few things to get off her chest after she was attacked by online trolls.

The fan known as Kait — not “Oilers girl,” she pointed out — took to Instagram, dressed in Oilers gear once again, to bare her soul and address the haters.

Sometimes those 15 minutes aren’t always what they’re cracked up to be.

COP WHO BUSTED JT DIDN’T KNOW WHO HE WAS

If you’ve been on the internet at all over the last few days, then you’ve seen all of the memes popping up following Justin Timberlake’s DWI arrest.

But someone who either hasn’t been online much or doesn’t care about pop culture was the officer who arrested the singer — who apparently was “so young” he “didn’t even know” who Timberlake was, Mark Daniell reported.

KNIFE-WIELDING MAN CUT LOOSE

A suspect who was charged for allegedly swinging a knife toward a man in a road-rage incident that was caught on camera and went viral in Scarborough last weekend was out on bail faster than you can say “catch and release.”

Joe Warmington detailed how it all began, how the situation escalated and how it could have ended in a homicide, but thankfully no one was injured.

Police were called anyway and now they are on the hunt for one of the suspects.

BETTER GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD

Our elementary schools in Ontario are now on the forefront of erasing women from our language and culture, according to Brian Lilley, who wrote that his friend’s fifth-grade son was given homework that used very questionable terminology.

“Women” and “girls” were referred to as “people with a uterus” while “boys” and “men” are — you guessed it — “people with a penis.”

That said, Education Minister Todd Smith’s office insisted that’s not their policy and would rather school boards focus on “getting back to basics on the fundamental skills that children need, like reading, writing and math.”

That’s a relief, but also concerning that some teachers think they can teach anything they want.
