Every year at Graceland, Elvis Presley fans descend on the mansion and its grounds for Elvis Week.
The King of Rock and Roll’s celebrations occur in the days leading up to August 16, when the star died at just 42 in 1977.
Since the pandemic, the estate has offered virtual Elvis Week tickets for fans who cannot get to Memphis, Tennessee in person.
Graceland teased: “Virtual Elvis Week brings all the excitement of Elvis Week 2024 right to your home. You’ll have a front row seat at the concerts, tribute contests, and panel discussions that make Elvis Week the best week of the year for Elvis fans round the world. As for this year’s guest speakers during Conservations on Elvis, Graceland shared: “Hosted by Tom Brown, enjoy an intimate and heartfelt celebration of Elvis’ life with friends, co-stars, musicians, singers, and more sharing their cherished memories and stories. Confirmed segments include Linda Thompson, along with her brother Sam Thompson, who will share their favourite family memories of spending time with Elvis, as well as each of their personal remembrances; Shirley Dieu, Joe Esposito’s girlfriend and Elvis’ friend from 1974-1977; Jerome Stump Monroe, drummer for the Sweet Inspirations who opened nearly every Elvis show from 1969-1977; Larry Geller, Elvis’ hairstylist and spiritual advisor; and Lisa Marie co-pilot Ron Strauss. In addition, enjoy a special awards presentation to The Jordanaires, who will be inducted into Graceland Legends.”
