Several major airlines are hosting Boxing Day sales, with domestic flights starting at $34 and international tickets at $145.
Jetstar, Virgin and Qantas have discounted thousands of flights for a few days as part of the sales.

Domestic discounted routes include Melbourne to Sydney from $34, Hobart to Gold Coast from $84, and Perth to Sydney from $154.
International fares include Perth to Bali from $145, Sydney to Auckland from $159 or Brisbane to Seoul from $249.
Virgin Australia has more than 500,000 tickets on sale for Boxing Day, with some flights, such as Sydney to Ballina, as low as $49.
Virgin’s sale includes return international tickets from Adelaide to Bali for $449, Brisbane to Fiji from $529 or Cairns to Tokyo from $679.
Domestic Virgin fares include one-way tickets from Sydney to Brisbane from $109, Sydney to the Gold Coast from $79 or Melbourne to Perth from $215.
Qantas has discounted almost every Australian route to encourage Aussies to explore their own backyard in 2024.
Qantas customers can travel from Adelaide to Alice Springs from $209, Perth to Sydney from $319 or Sydney to Hobart from $159.
They will receive double Qantas points if they use a COVID voucher, which will expire on December 31, 2023, on their flights.
The sale ends on Wednesday, December 27 for Jetstar, Thursday, December 28 for Qantas and Friday, December 29 for Virgin, unless tickets are sold out prior.
Travel dates vary across the different sales and does not include check-in luggage for Virgin and Jetstar flights.
