The Kedia Securities chief has brought his holding down by 13 basis points in Elecon Engineering to 1.47% in the December quarter from 1.60% in the September quarter. As for Talbros Automotive, his stake at the end of the December quarter stood at 1.01% down 21 basis points from 1.22% in Q2 of FY2024.
Shareholding of individual investors is reflected in the ‘Shareholding Pattern’ of BSE-listed companies only when it reaches 1% stake or above in a company.
Elecon Engineering has given returns of 161% over a one-year period, which is a significant outperformance over Nifty whose returns stand at an impressive 23% during the period.
The Gujarat-based company manufactures gearbox and material handling equipment. The seven-decade-old company serves fertilizer, cement, coal, power generation, mining, chemical, steel, port mechanization, minerals & metals processing industries, among others.
The recent rally has dragged the stock into an overbought zone with momentum indicators RSI and MFI reported by Trendlyne around 78 and 80, respectively. Elecon is also trading above its 50-day and 200-day simple moving averages (SMAs).
As for Talbros Automotive Components, the returns have been to the tune of 180% in the past 1 year. The stock is now trading above its 50-day and 200-day SMAs.Talbros is a diversified auto component player with a presence across automobile categories in passenger and commercial vehicles, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, agricultural machinery, off-loaders and industrial vehicles. It manufactures gaskets, forged & machined parts, rubber hoses, suspension parts, among other things.
Kedia’s portfolio is among the most followed in the Indian market and the investor began investing in the stock market at the age of 19. According To Trendlyne, the latest corporate shareholdings filed by Kedia shows that he publicly holds 15 stocks with a net worth of over Rs 1,518.9 crore.
Some of the stocks in his portfolio include Siyaram Silk Mills, Vaibhav Global, Atul Auto, Tejas Networks and Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India.
