A wide-scale search is underway for a swimmer who went missing at a beach in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Emergency services were called to Bronte Beach about 7.45pm on Sunday, after the man disappeared in the water.

Two swimmers were caught in a rip at the beach, police say, but only one has been located and rescued.
“Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command are conducting a search, with the assistance of Surf Life Savers, NSW Ambulance helicopter and NSW Police Marine Area Command,” NSW Police said in a statement.
The search is continuing on Monday morning.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police immediately.
