UFC boss Dana White gets FedEx driver fired after viral video

A FedEx deliveryman has been fired after UFC president Dana White posted a video to social media showing the worker tossing packages into the back of a truck on the streets of New York City.

“FedEx: We’ll get your s— there, but we’ll f— it up!” White, 54, said into the camera, as he and another man chuckled while filming the video of the driver making jump shots with people’s parcels.

As the clip racked up millions of views, the driver was terminated by the company.

“The behaviour depicted in the video is unacceptable and inconsistent with the professionalism FedEx demonstrates every day,” FedEx told TMZ Sports. “We are committed to treating our customers’ packages with the utmost care, and this driver is no longer providing service for our company as a result of this behaviour.”

On X, White’s post became the subject of debate as thousands of users argued over whether FedEx overreacted. But many viewers said the driver deserved to be sacked.

“Dana cost his job? He cost his own job,” one person shared on X, with another adding, “Do the job right or don’t do it at all. People are always watching. He deserved to be fired.”

A third person said the deliveryman should have been more careful. “Packages are thrown constantly throughout being shipped. It’s (standard operating procedure) in the industry,” they wrote. “This guy’s mistake was doing it in a customer-facing way and he should’ve been reprimanded not fired.”

“If it hadn’t been someone famous in the video, the contractor prob wouldn’t have been fired. That’s bad luck. Diver was foolish though. Someone is always watching and filming,” a fourth chimed on Reddit.

“I would be pissed If I bought a laptop or monitor etc. and it came smashed because some dips— doesn’t care about his job,” another person wrote.

But on Instagram, watchers were predicting the worker was going to be turfed the minute FedEx brass saw it making the rounds.

“Dana just got someone fired,” one person remarked.

The video came after White burned Netflix during Tom Brady’s roast special last week for only giving him a one-minute spot on the broadcast.

“Let me get into this real quick,” White started. “It p—es me off. I flew all the way out here and you guys give me 60 seconds? My name is Dana. Is that not trans enough for you liberal f—s?”

White then launched into a joke about Brady.

“Tom, you played for the (New England) Patriots for so long that I was actually starting to feel like you were from Boston. Then I saw you running and I was like, ‘No he’s definitely from San Francisco,’” the UFC boss joked.
