Two women were robbed of their possessions minutes apart in the same area of Mississauga on Thursday, according to Peel police.

Cops say the two separate robberies, not far from each other, occurred between 6 p.m. and 6:40 p.m. in The Collegeway and South Millway area.

In both crimes, the victims said they were walking outside on a pathway near the South Common Library when they were approached by two males who robbed them at knife-point of their personal belongings.
Both women were not physically harmed.

Police provided three suspect descriptions. Investigators are unsure if both robberies are connected or coincidental.
Two suspects had dark skin, a slim build and were between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9. One was wearing a black sweater with the hood up and the other had bright-coloured clothing.
A third suspect had dark skin, brown eyes and was between 14 and 18 years old. He was wearing black pants, a black puffy jacket and a blue surgical mask.
Police say officers are active in the area and investigators are following up on tips to identify the suspects.
