Two teen girls and a man have been charged following a stabbing in North York last month.

Toronto Police were called for a stabbing in the Finch Ave.-Yonge St. area on Monday, April 1 at 8 a.m.

Police said four suspects entered the victim’s business and there was an interaction between the suspects and the victim.
The victim chased the suspects when they fled and caught one of the suspects who allegedly slashed him with a sharp object on the upper arm.
On Monday, two search warrants were executed in The Donway E.-Don Mills Rd. area and Doris Ave.-Byng Ave. area.
A 16-year-old Toronto youth was charged with two counts of harassment by repeated following another person, mischief/damage property not exceeding $5,000, possess weapon, etc., for committing an offence, and aggravated assault.

Shayan Hashemi, 18, of Toronto, was charged with two counts of harassment by repeated following another person, and assault with weapon or imitation weapon.
The fourth suspect is still outstanding.
The youths can’t be named as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

MAN SOUGHT ON NATIONWIDE WARRANT IN ALLEGED ABDUCTION
A 41-year-old man is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for allegedly abducting his three-year old child.
Toronto Police said on Wednesday, Feb. 7, a man flew to Vietnam with his child.
The man and child were scheduled to return to Canada on Thursday, Feb. 15, at which time the child was to be returned to the mother’s care, but police said that never happened.
Loc Phu “Jay” Le, 41, is wanted for abduction in contravention of custody order.

He is described as 5-foot-10 190 pounds, with short black hair.

BRAMPTON MAN SOUGHT AFTER WOMAN SHOT
A 25-year-old Brampton man is sought after a woman was shot during a robbery.
Peel Regional Police said the female victim was in the Nexus Ave.-Fogal Rd. area of Brampton when the woman and accused had a “violent interaction.” Cops said the woman was allegedly shot and robbed of her belongings.
The suspect fled and the victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Niyo Tyrese Hill is wanted for assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, robbery with a firearm, discharge firearm with intent, unauthorized possession of a firearm, breach of probation, and two counts of possession of weapon contrary to order.

Hill is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

YORK COP CHARGED
A York Regional Police officer is facing three counts of sexual assault and one count of forcible confinement following an investigation by the professional standards unit.
York police began an investigation in March after allegations against the officer were made.
Det. Andrew Burford was suspended with pay on Saturday under the provisions of the Police Services Act,
Burford has been with York police since 2004.
No other information is being released to protect the victim.

WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN OSHAWA HOME
Police are looking for a 31-year-old man after a woman was found dead in a Oshawa home.
On Tuesday at 7 a.m., Durham Regional Police were called to check on the well-being of a person at a residence in the Rideau St.-Saguenay Ave area.
Police entered the home and found a dead woman.
Police haven’t been able to find a man believed to be associated with the woman and the home and have concerns for his safety.

Lal Kannampuzha Poulose is a 5-foot-8 brown male with a medium build. He was believed to be driving a blue Ford Escape with the Ontario license plate CXKZ 784.
Police said not to approach him and call 911 instead.
