PWHL New York, in association with the New Jersey Devils, will host two home games at the Prudential Centre, the league announced Tuesday.
New York will play host to Boston on Saturday, April 20th, then welcome Ottawa on Tuesday, April 30.
The Prudential Center, the home of the Devils, can hold 16,500 fans and will become the seventh NHL venue to host a PWHL game this season.
“It’s a privilege for PWHL New York to be welcomed with such enthusiasm and professionalism by the New Jersey Devils family,” said Pascal Daoust, PWHL New York general manager said in a league-released statement. “In this special season, it is an exciting opportunity for us to reach even more fans from the Tri-State area to come together and experience the PWHL and see the best women’s hockey in the world.”
The game on April 20th will be a celebration of Pride, while the game against Ottawa on April 30th will support Mental Health Awareness.
