Two men now face murder charges, and police are hunting a third suspect, following a deadly fight in a west-end apartment building last weekend.

Toronto Police say officers responded to reports of an assault at a highrise located at Weston Rd. and Lawrence Ave. around 5:45 a.m. on Saturday.

“There were reports of a fight in an apartment building,” Homicide Det.-Sgt. Tiffany Castell said in a statement released Wednesday.
She said responding officers found a man suffering from “significant injuries,” adding that the victim was later pronounced dead at that location.

The slain man – the city’s sixth murder victim of the year – has since been identified as Edwin John Redmond, 27, of Toronto.
One suspect was identified and taken into custody on the day of the killing. Zakkaria Wardere, 27, of Toronto, is charged with second-degree murder.
Arrested on Tuesday, Ninos Khoshaba, 49, of Toronto, is likewise charged with second-degree murder.

And Castell said a third suspect – identified as Liban Mohamud, 42, of Toronto – is now wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for second-degree murder.
