(NewsNation) — President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are squaring off in the first of two presidential debates as they head toward a rematch of the 2020 election. Meanwhile, challenger Robert F. Kennedy Jr., after not making it to the CNN debate stage, will respond to the questions on X.

The CNN Presidential Debate, which will be simulcast on NewsNation and in the player above, comes earlier in the election cycle with neither candidate officially named as their party’s nominee yet.
