NSW locals have slammed “entitled” tourists for parking in the middle of the road at a popular beach spot.
The tourists parked on both sides of the road leading to Cape Byron Lighthouse in Byron Bay on Tuesday.
“Zero f**** given at the lighthouse carpark this morning,” a resident captioned a photo of the cars shared to a community Facebook group.

Some social media users theorised the tourists had parked there to watch the sunset.
“They probably only needed to get a quick Instagram video,” one person said.
“How else would people know ’Byron was such a vibe’.”
“I don’t know whether to laugh or be outraged,” said another person.
“Let’s go to Byron, road rules don’t exist there,” a third said.
One person simply wrote: “Entitled.”
“It reeks of self entitlement,” commented another.
Many locals commented that better public transport to the lighthouse is needed, so tourists don’t have to drive up.
Others said spots at the lighthouse should only be for disabled parking.
The Cape Byron Lighthouse is a popular tourist spot, labelled one of the “most Instagrammable” on social media.
Byron Shire Council has been contacted for comment.
