Here are our top stories:

WARMINGTON: Three of four Brampton road-rage suspects in handcuffs

It was an ugly, awful incident where a case of road rage resulted in a busted-up windshield for one likely terrified motorist.

Peel Regional Police were able to nab three of the four suspects but one of the fourth, arguably the main culprit, is still at large, Joe Warmington reported.

The one cops really want to talk to is allegedly the one seen on video using his fist to Hulk-smash the windshield.

While Deputy Chief Marc Andrews told the Sun it is a “serious crime,” it doesn’t have to become more serious.

Dude, turn yourself in before things get worse.

LILLEY: Trudeau makes life more expensive for you as MPs get pay hike

On the same day Canadians were forced to accept the carbon tax increase, federal MPs were sitting pretty as they enjoyed their substantial pay hikes.

April Fools’ Day is long over but the joke is on Canadians who will now pay a little more for just about everything, from natural gas, as well as the annual tax increase on booze, all of which gets charged to the producers, who then pass it on to consumers or the bars and restaurants that rely on these sales to operate, Brian Lilley reported.

There are also payroll tax increases (three, to be exact) and an airport tax hike.

So, higher prices for everyone involved, which means inflation, of course, but unfortunately most of us don’t get fatter paycheques to balance it out.

Ex-NHLer Bobby Ryan wages online war against women’s sports

We are a fan of women, women’s sports and women in sports.

So basically, the opposite of former NHLer Bobby Ryan, who got lit up online over his controversial not-so-hot takes on women in sports, Dan Bilicki reported.

From challenging people on social media to name female players to wanting to go home and “pretend like women’s sports are a thing,” even those close to Ryan have since distanced themselves from him.

CeCe Telfair, who previously competed as a male, took part in a 60m hurdles event in Boston, qualified for the final, but was later disqualified for a false start, according to Bilicki.

Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies was among those to call out Telfair for competing at February’s women’s event.

“Spot the male athlete in the women’s race! It’s simply cheating,” Davies wrote on X in response to a picture taken at the event with the competitors in the starting blocks and Telfair towering over the other athletes.

Davies has long defended women in sports and has been a proponent of having an ‘open’ category for transgender athletes.

While Telfair received a fair share of the criticism online for taking the spot of a biological female in the event, many were also quick to blame the NCAA for their policies and allowing her to compete.

HUNTER: Ajax mom of two allegedly slain by boyfriend was ‘very beautiful soul’

Jennifer Polak of Ajax was allegedly killed by her “piece of s—” boyfriend last weekend, according to her loved ones.

The 45-year-old mother of two was remembered as a “very beautiful soul” who was “brutally taken from her sons, her family, her friends,” Brad Hunter reported.

Friends said that Polak recently celebrated her birthday and was just back from a vacation in the Cayman Islands.

It was unclear how long Polak had been involved with 35-year-old Kyle Severin.

The accused was taken into custody without incident and charged with second-degree murder.
