“This evil and complete disregard for human life has no place in Missouri, or anywhere,” Andrew Bailey wrote on X, adding that he is praying for the victim, idenitified only as Kailee.

“The (alleged) criminal should be charged and tried as an adult. If the victim dies, that offence should rise to a homicide.”

An unidentified 15-year-old was arrested after the fight on Friday near Hazelwood East High School in Spanish Lake, Mo., north of St. Louis.

“I will do everything in my power to ensure the perpetrator is held fully accountable,” Bailey added in another post.

The accused is being held on assault charges. Her case is being handled by the juvenile court, according to St. Louis County prosecutor Wesley Bell.

The teen suspect was allegedly filmed hitting Kailee on a residential road and pushing her to the ground, where she continued to punch her.

The victim can be seen trying to push her attacker away as the girl continues to pummel her while repeatedly calling her a “b—-” before stradding the victim and repeatedly smashing her head into the concrete road.

Kailee lies motionless while others continue to fight around her before the camera pans back to her and she appears to twitch.

Police arrived to find the victim suffering from a severe head injury. She was taken to the hospital and listed in critical condition.

Lt.-Gov. Mike Kehoe also said those involved in the beating “must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”

“This culture of a complete disregard for human life is unacceptable and it does not represent who we are as Missourians,” he said in a statement to KMOV.

“Our prayers are with the victim, Kailee, for a full recovery.”

The investigation is ongoing.
