When Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift curl up on the couch to watch their favourite show on TV, it’s possible that Kelce may be the third wheel in that living room when it comes to net worth.

Kelce is one of the best players in the NFL, a future Hall of Famer, has several advertising deals with international companies, and is the co-host of one of the hottest podcasts on the Internet.

Even still, he is very much in the shadow of his girlfriend Swift – inarguably one of the biggest and most successful superstars there is – but we already knew that.

The Chiefs tight end, though, is actually playing third fiddle in net worth under her roof, according to The Ultimate Pet Rich List published by cats.com.

The singer’s cat Olivia Benson – named after Mariska Hargitay’s character on Law & Order: SVU – outranks ‘poor’ Travis.

The photogenic feline has a net worth of roughly $97 million, thanks to her fame on Instagram, appearing in Swift’s music videos and other ventures.

“The Scottish Fold earned her fortune starring alongside her owner in several music videos, has crafted her own merchandise line, and has had cameos in many big-budget ads, including for the likes of Diet Coke and Ned Sneakers,” the site wrote.

Compared to most people, Kelce is very well off with an estimated net worth of $40 million – but that is less than half of the cat’s net worth.

Kelce should be on the rise, however, seeing how his profile has exploded since the rumours of his coupling up with Swift emerged last year.

He also has landed advertising deals with Pfizer and Experian to go along with an existing relationship with Nike and he hosted Saturday Night Live to rave reviews after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win in February.

Olivia actually ranks third on the pet rich list, behind Nala Cat – a Siamese and tabby mix worth $100 million that has more than 4 million followers on Instagram – and Gunther VI, a German shepherd that has roughly $500 million in real estate and investments through inheritance.

Olivia is one of Swift’s three cats with the Cruel Summer hitmaker also cat mom to another Scottish Fold, Meredith Grey and a four-year-old ragdoll named Benjamin Button.

The other two cats didn’t feature on the pets ranking list or have their net worth listed, but Kelce may need to watch out for Benjamin snaking third place in the relationship — he was featured with Swift on the cover of Time Magazine after she was named Person of the Year.

On the field, Kelce will be hoping to lead the Chiefs to another Super Bowl title with the playoffs starting this week. Kansas City will host the Miami Dolphins on Saturday night, but whether or not Swift will be in attendance remains to be confirmed.
