(NewsNation) — Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship was “purely organic,” Kansas City Chiefs owner and CEO Clark Hunt told CNBC’s Jim Cramer.
“We are so happy for Travis Kelce and Taylor, and their relationship,” Hunt said in the interview.
Hunt claimed the relationship between the two stars grew organically, and is “very real.” He said it’s been a fun and interesting year being able to watch their relationship grow and the impact it has had on the Chiefs’ community.
He explained that the attention on their relationship has grown the team’s female audience “leaps and bounds.” Cramer called the relationship an “unplanned phenomenon,” and Hunt agreed. Hunt then addressed all the rumors that Swift and Kelce’s relationship was planned as a marketing stunt.
“It’s very real. The most important thing is we are happy for them,” Hunt said.
Swift and Kelce have become one of the hottest celebrity couples in the world since they began dating early in the season, and the 12-time Grammy Award winner has watched her boyfriend numerous times at Arrowhead Stadium.
