Travis Kelce has ensured his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s trip across the world to be there for the NFL Super Bowl was worth it, with his Kansas City Chiefs lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the second straight year.
In the midst of her global Eras tour, Swift, undoubtedly the world’s biggest popstar, flew straight from Tokyo (where she played a show on Saturday night) to Las Vegas, where the Chiefs took on the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday night’s decider (Monday AEDT).

She was as much a part of the broadcast and spectacle as Kelce, who played a key role as the Cheifs’ tight end, as cameras cut to the 34-year-old superstar constantly throughout the game.
Swift was like any other fanatic every time the Chiefs scored, erupting in celebration from a suite alongside Patrick Mahomes’s wife Brittany and actress Blake Lively, among other A-listers.
Kelce was swarmed by family and friends on the field immediately after the final play, but Swift was nowhere to be seen.
That was until he was interviewed by Jim Nantz on the dais.
An ecstatic Kelce stole the show when given the mic, quoting lyrics from Elvis Presley and Beastie Boys before cameras cut to Swift, who had made her way down onto the field, beside the stage.
With the official presentation soon finished, the pair shared an intimate embrace and kiss on the Allegiant Stadium turf.
Swift then whispered something in Kelce’s ear as the loved-up couple walked away arm-in-arm.
In just four days’ time, Swift will perform for a packed-out Melbourne Cricket Ground, where she will begin the Australian leg of her Eras tour.
After three shows at the MCG, she will then head to Sydney, where she will play between February 23-26.

The most excitement in the first half came when a frustrated Kelce bumped Andy Reid on the sideline, knocking the Chiefs’ 65-year-old coach a few steps back after teammate Isiah Pacheco fumbled inside the red zone during the second quarter.
The action picked up after a crucial blunder by San Francisco’s special teams set up Mahomes’ 16-yard touchdown pass to Marquez Valdes-Scantling for a 13-10 lead.
Brock Purdy and the 49ers answered but they couldn’t make enough plays, denying ‘Mr Irrelevant’ an opportunity to go from last pick in the 2022 NFL draft to Super Bowl champion.
Mahomes and Reid are now halfway to Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, who won six championships in 20 years together with the New England Patriots — the most recent team to go back-to-back following the 2003-04 seasons.
The 28-year-old Mahomes becomes the fifth starting quarterback to win three Super Bowls — joining Brady, Joe Montana, Terry Bradshaw and Troy Aikman.
Niners wide receiver Jauan Jennings threw a touchdown pass and caught one, joining Eagles quarterback Nick Foles six years ago as the only players to do both in the Super Bowl.
