Tata Motors slashes entry prices of several models including Nexon, Harrier by up to Rs 2.05 lakh

Tata Motors has announced its ‘Festival of Cars’ campaign, offering amazing deals for this festive season. The automaker has reduced prices on its popular cars and SUVs by up to Rs 2.05 lakh.

According to Tata Motors, these special festive offers will be available for a limited time, ending on October 31, 2024, across all petrol, diesel, and CNG models.

Announcing the offers, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, expressed confidence that customers would take advantage of this unique opportunity to own a Tata vehicle.

“As the festive season begins, we are excited to present a wide range of attractive offers for our valued customers. With total benefits of up to Rs 2.05 lakh on ICE vehicles, this year’s festive celebration includes significant price reductions along with exchange and cash benefits. It’s the perfect time to embrace new beginnings,” he said.

“We are confident that our customers will seize this exceptional opportunity to bring home a Tata car, known for its safety and design, and make this festive season truly memorable,” Srivatsa added.

New starting prices for several popular models are as follows:Tiago: Rs 4.99 lakh
Altroz: Rs 6.49 lakh
Nexon: Rs 7.99 lakh
Harrier: Rs 14.99 lakh
Safari: Rs 15.49 lakh

Additionally, Tata Motors announced that consumers could benefit from exchange offers of up to Rs 45,000, available at dealerships.

The price cut comes amid a significant inventory buildup at dealerships. Sales of cars by dealers fell by 4.5% in August, marking the third decline in the current financial year, which began in April.

India’s top three carmakers—Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, and Tata Motors—saw dealer sales to customers drop by 8.5%, 12.9%, and 2.7%, respectively.

In August, unsold car inventory in the world’s third-largest auto market surged to a record 70-75 days, valued at 778 billion rupees ($9.27 billion).
