(NewsNation) — Taco Bell is opening an “early retirement” community for people of all ages who want to experience the leisurely lifestyle often enjoyed by older adults.
The company announced The Cantinas will be “designed to redefine leisure” through a weekend getaway in San Diego.
Opening Aug. 17-18, the experience will highlight the leisurely lifestyle of older adults, featuring aerobics classes, pickleball tournaments and early dinners.
Taylor Montgomery, Taco Bell’s U.S. chief of marketing, said the company doesn’t think people should wait until 55 to live the life they want to.
“The Cantinas early retirement community, just like our brand, represents a place where all generations can come together, regardless of age, to Live their Más however they want,” Montgomery said in a statement.
The company is only allowing Taco Bell Rewards members to purchase memberships to the exclusive experience, and members can get a day pass or a weekend pass. Members also have to be over 21 to sign up.
