Peel Regional Police say the victim, who was found in the high-end sports car on Mississauga Rd. near North Sheridan Way around 4 a.m. on Tuesday, remains in hospital.

But cops believe the shooting occurred on Highriver Ct. – a residential street nearly two kilometres away.

And investigators have now released images of a vehicle that is sought in connection with the gun violence.

This suspect vehicle, described as a grey 2016 to 2020 Honda Civic sedan, is sought in connection with the shooting of a woman, 33, on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a grey 2016 to 2020 Honda Civic sedan, with sport trim, dark wheels, sunroof and a burnt-out passenger side fog light.

“The vehicle may have minor damage on the front bumper,” police said in a statement released Saturday.

Police are urging members of the public “to be mindful of any abandoned or suspicious vehicles in parking lots or side streets matching the suspect vehicle description.”

Investigators still have no description of the shooter.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect vehicle of the shooting is asked to call police at 905-453-2121, ext. 1133, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
