Star Wars Outlaws early access release time, date and how to play three days early | Gaming | Entertainment

One of this year’s highest profile new game releases is finally ready to make its debut on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. While Star Wars Outlaws officially has an August 30 release date on all platforms, fans willing to spend extra on the Gold and Ultimate Editions can actually start playing three days ahead of schedule. Indeed, if you’ve forked out the extra money for the upgrade, then Star Wars Outlaws has an August 27 release date. Even better news is that you won’t have to wait very long to start playing, because PS5 and Xbox versions of the game have a midnight BST launch time for customers in the UK. The PC version, on the other hand, will be available to start playing at 11pm BST UK time on August 26.

To ensure you can start playing the moment the clock strikes midnight, pre-order customers are advised to pre-load the game ahead of launch.

The file size is roughly 50GB, although it looks like additional space will be required for various updates at launch.

In addition to early access, the Gold and Ultimate Editions come with a few extra bonuses, both at launch and beyond.

The Gold Edition contains the base game, the early access unlock and the Season Pass, which includes new content in the months ahead.

The Ultimate Edition contains all of the above, as well as the Sabacc Shark bundle, the Rogue Infiltrator bundle and a digital art book.

Star Wars Outlaws is a semi open-world action game in which fans play as an outlaw named Kay Vass.

As part of the game, players will explore a variety of planets with blaster in hand and speeder in tow.

You’ll be tasked with stealing valuable loot, infiltrating shadowy locations and avoiding agents of The Empire.

It’s kind of like a Star Wars version of Uncharted, albeit with more aerial dog fighting and space exploration.

Reviews have been mixed, although hopefully some of the technical complaints can be ironed out shortly, because there’s definitely a fun game in there.
