Spain v France LIVE: Euro 2024 latest score and updates as Kylian Mbappe leads search for semi-final equaliser after Lamine Yamal wondergoal

A pitch invader was escorted off the field after grabbing Kylian Mbappeby the shirt on Wednesday, during France’s Euro 2024 clash with Spain.

Spain had the counter opportunity from that France corner, but they didn’t look that interested.

Lamine Yamal still looks interested though – he cuts inside Hernandez and looks to bend an effort in from distance, but it’s too high.

Dembele comes off for Giroud as France hunt that elusive equaliser.

Saliba brings down Yamal near halfway, and Spain look to keep the ball, but Saliba intercepts and they thread it to Barcola. He beats Nacho again down the left, but the former Madrid captain gets back well to deflect his cross out.

CLOSE! Griezmann’s cross in is put back into the box by Dembele. There’s some pinball in the box as Spain try to clear, and eventually a white shirt rolls it to Hernandez on the edge of the box. He tries the first-time side-of-the-foot shot, but it flies over!

Luis de la Fuente makes changes, bringing on Mikel Merino and Mikel Oyarzabal for Morata and Olmo.

Dembele’s early cross results in another corner. He delivers the out-swinging ball, but Spain clear, and it finds its way to Olmo in the middle.

Dembele does well to track back and prevent the cross in from Cucurella. France clear, but it’s straight to Laporte.

Barcola beats Nacho – who’s moved to right-back now – down the left, but his cross is hooked away. Morata then does well to hold the ball up and win another free-kick.

Hernandez eventually wins it off Yamal, before Spain win the foul.

Spain’s play has been a lot less expansive in this half so far.

Camavinga clips it towards Mbappe, who brings it down well and slips it wide to Hernandez, but the full-back runs it out of play.
