The 69-year-old actor joined the Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima and spilled the potential news.
“Here a quick intel. I saw Adam (Sandler) about two weeks ago and he says to me, ‘McDonald, you’re going to love this.’ And I said, ‘What?’ He says, ‘How about that! And he shows me the first draft of Happy Gilmore 2.”
Oh, you can count? Good for you.
The always quotable comedy 1996 classic is a favourite of golfers and Adam Sandler fans alike, and sequel would be the talk of fairways this spring.
“Maybe you should cut that out,” McDonald added, seeming to wonder if he had said too much. “I don’t want to be a liar but he did show me that and I thought, well that would be awesome. So it’s in the works.”
Oh yeah. Lotta Pressure. You Gotta Rise Above It.
