All an Ottawa Senators fan was trying to do was lose himself to “Lose Yourself” during a game but after realizing he was on camera, he was instantly mortified and shut down his rap skills.

The viral video shows the fan and his friends energetically rapping along to the Detroit rapper, heads bobbing, hands flailing.

The pal to his left was unfazed, even looking at the camera a couple of times.

Once the boy in the Sens jersey realized he was being filmed, he immediately stopped rapping along and slunk in his seat in embarrassment.

The video was shared by multiple accounts including non aesthetic things on X, which has more than 16.7 million views and boasts 130,000 likes.

“Poor guy was just enjoying life” the account noted alongside the original post that read, “Y’all wrong for recording him.”

If the person recording the kid was hoping to humiliate the young man, the commenters proved otherwise and were more frustrated by someone trying to ruin another person’s good time.

“People can’t even vibe anymore without these weirdos pulling out their phones… smh,” one person wrote, while another added, “Broke the poor guy’s vibe, he was having a ball there.”

One user called out the invasion of privacy, writing, “I would also feel uncomfortable if someone was recording me like that.”

Another went so far as to suggest the person “who recorded him should be jailed.”

We apologize, but this video has failed to load.

Others noted it was Eminem, so hundreds of fans around the arena were probably singing along just as enthusiastically with no shame in their game.

In other words, let this kid live!

“Honestly just own it because the people putting you down for having fun just love being lame.”
