Senators’ Josh Norris to make pre-season debut vs. Canadiens

The Ottawa Senators will have an important piece back in the lineup Tuesday.

Centre Josh Norris will make his pre-season debut when Ottawa visits the Montreal Canadiens.

Norris missed the final two months of last season with a shoulder injury and was slowly being integrated back into the lineup at training camp.

He will centre the second line between Ridly Greig and newcomer David Perron as the Senators ice an NHL-quality lineup.

The 25-year-old Norris had 30 points in 50 games last season. He is entering the third season of an eight-year, $63.6-million contract.

In other lineup news, goaltender Linus Ullmark will make his second pre-season start and is expected to play the full game. Last week he allowed one goal in 30 minutes against the Sabres.

Defenceman Artem Zub, who was recovering from a lower-body injury, is also expected to play against the Canadiens.
