The mani, which Saweetie showed off on Instagram, is all about shiny, frosty chrome. The star’s nails are a super pale pink that looks lit from within due to the chrome topper. According to Saweetie’s go-to nail artist, Temeka Jackson, she created the look by first applying a coat of The Gel Bottle’s Blanc, then layered on Riya’s Nails Unicorn Chrome 1. Finally, Jackson applied a layer of Social Claws Lumi Chrome powder, resulting in a truly stunning, glowing shade of luminescent baby pink. It reminds me of childhood in the early ’90s, when everything was awash in frosty, magical, holographic pastel shades, like Barbies, My Little Ponies, even stickers and Trapper Keepers. The rapper must have been thinking pink because she matched her manicure to her pink sweater for the sweetest vibes.
