Sarah Di Lorenzo dropped into the Sunrise studio on Tuesday, deciphering fact or fiction when it comes to cholesterol.
Di Lorenzo said many of her patients come into the clinic with high cholesterol, which was a common complaint.
The beloved nutritionist shared a number of recipes for viewers, to keep their cholesterol down.

Breakfast — Chia and oats
Makes: 1 serve
Ingredients
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
1/4 cup of oats
1/2 cup of almond milk
Fresh fruit
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Method
Soak the chia seeds in the milk for 2 hours in the fridge.
Add the remainder of the ingredients, stir well and enjoy
Lunch — Tuna Wrap
Ingredients
1 slice of whole meal pita or a whole grain wrap
Hummus
1 x 95 can of tuna drained
Lettuce
Cucumber
Tomato
Avocado
Parsley and basil leaves
Dinner — Health chicken stir-fry
Ingredients
1 teaspoon of olive oil
1/4 sliced onion
1 slices carrot
1 cup of broccoli
1 tablespoon of fresh ginger
2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of tamari
150 grams of shredded cooked chicken
1/4 cup of water
Pinch of chilli (optional)
1 teaspoon of arrowroot flour
Method
Heat the oil in the pan, add the carrots, broccoli, onion, and stir-fry.
Add the ginger, garlic, tamari and next the chicken. Add the arrowroot flour and water. Thicken and serve with cooked brown rice, or you can enjoy wrapped up in lettuce cups.
