The UFC has announced its Fight Night card for an Oct. 12 event at the Apex in Vegas.
The card is headlined by a flyweight matchup between Brandon Royval and Tatsuro Taira.
Lightweights Grant Dawson and Rafa Garcia will also clash at the event, as will multiple alumns from Dana White’s Contender Series.
Other fights on the card include:
• Abdul Razak Alhassan vs. Josh Fremd in a middleweight bout.
• Clayton Carptener vs. Lucas Rocha in a flyweight bout featuring two Contender Series signees.
• Chris Barnett vs. Contender Series alumn Waldo Cortest Acosta in the heavyweight division.
• Polyana Viana vs. Contender Series alumn Cory McKenna in the strawweight division.
• CJ Vergara, a Contender Series contract winner, is taking on Ramazan Temirov in Temirov’s UFC debut.
• Themba Gorimbo vs. Niko Price in a welterweight bout.
• And Chidi Njokuani, a Contender Series signee, facing Jared Gooden in a welterweight bout.
