Royal fans have noticed a touching detail in a photo of Catherine, the Princess of Wales and Princess Charlotte at Wimbledon.
It’s the mother-of-three’s second public appearance since she revealed she was undergoing treatment for an unspecified form of cancer found during major abdominal surgery in January.

And while Kate’s return to her beloved Wimbledon was met with applause and a standing ovation from the crowd, it’s the reaction from her only daughter that has attracted attention.
Many were stunned to see nine-year-old Charlotte beam with pride at her mum and look visibly moved at the crowd’s overwhelming reaction to her attendance at the Men’s Singles Finals.
“Just wow. Charlotte’s face is just very cute. So proud,” said one X user.
A Facebook user added: “Wow, Charlotte is just so happy for her mum to be there. What a special moment. They will look back on this moment. ”
Photographer Karwai Tang told PEOPLE, Kate’s arrival was unforgettable, and there was another sweet moment with Kate’s sister Pippa, who was also at the match.
“(Charlotte) skipped down the stairs and when she got back to her seat — she was laughing,” said Tang. “She leaned over and must have told her mum what it was about and they were giggling together and having a good old laugh,” he says.
“You can tell that all three of them were enjoying themselves — Charlotte is following the game like her mother. You can see their excitement.”
While Kate and Charlotte attended the Wimbledon match, George and his father, Prince William, flew to Germany to attend the UEFA European Championship final, where England played Spain but lost.
