Robert Irwin was left mortified after his mother made an X-rated joke as the pair presented on stage.
Speaking of her late husband Steve Irwin, who died in 2006, Terri joked she had a tattoo reading “Steve was here” — in a place she was not allowed to show.

Her 20-year-old son appeared embarrassed, turning away from his mother on stage as the crowd laughed, and later dropping to his knees.
Mother and son were giving the keynote speech at the VMX 2024 veterinary conference in Orlando, Florida.
They detailed their work and mission at Australia Zoo in Queensland, Robert’s passion for wildlife photography and continuing Steve’s legacy of wildlife conservation.
Later in the speech, Terri said she had been told that someone in the crowd had a Steve Irwin tattoo.
“Someone here has a tattoo of Steve,” Terri said.
“I heard a rumour,” Robert added.
As the crowd erupted into cheers, Terri added: “It seems like there’s more than one person who has a tattoo of Steve and I was really impressed because I don’t have a tattoo of Steve.
“I have a tattoo that says ‘Steve was here’.”
Responding, Robert turned his back on his mum, raising a hand to his face in mock embarrassment as the crowd cheered with delight.
Taking it one step further, Terri added, “I don’t think I can show it to you”.
As the X-rated joke further clicked into place, Robert dropped to his knees, mortified by the moment.
“Anyway! Alright!” he yelled out, trying to move the conversation on.
The conference took place after Robert and his girlfriend enjoyed a skiing holiday in Canada.
Last week, Robert and Rorie shared footage from their “cold Christmas”, appearing to enjoy time in Whistler ski village.
In one photo from Rorie, the pair cuddle up for the camera, with her hand resting on Robert’s chest.
Another image focuses on the pair holding hands.
One photo shows Robert preparing to go skiing, while in another selfie Rorie shows off her all-black ski outfit.
Mixed with stunning scenic shots is a video of Irwin sitting by the water amid a glowing orange sunset.
Another video shows snow-covered mountains and snow-capped pine trees under a grey-blue sky.
The idyllic-looking images are simply captioned: “Canada ❄️🫶🏻.”
Meanwhile, Robert’s post was captioned: “Cold Christmas adventures ❄️”.
