Robert Irwin fans have rushed to his defence after some trolls criticised his close relationship with his mother Terri Irwin.
The mother-son duo is known to have a special bond, however, her frequent travels with her 20-year-old son have attracted some criticism.

The wave of trolling began after Irwin shared a post on Sunday of his “May adventures”, including his and Terri’s recent trip to the US.
The first image showed Robert posing with a friend and his mum during their trip to New York.
Another showed the Irwins with what appears to be a family friend, smiling on a park bench.
“Why (does) your momma always gotta be with you everywhere you go …” one asked.
“Robert is like 20. He needs to see the world by himself,” a second wrote.
“Is Robert and his mother joined at the hip. She is in every pic you see of him,” another said.
However, the younger Irwin’s fans rebutted the digs, with the top comment in the post reading: “People saying why Robert has his mum in so many photos.
“Remember every day is precious. Life is fragile. The Irwin’s like millions of other families have experienced loss on a monumental scale.
“Steve was larger than life.
“It’s lovely that they do spend so much time with each other.
“Don’t be so critical.”
Another said, “Why don’t you just mind your own business”.
The US trip comes after Terri and Robert’s trip to South Africa earlier this year.
‘Truly blessed’
Terri gave a candid reflection on the importance of being a mum with a Mother’s Day post earlier this month, alongside a picture of her with children Bindi and Robert when they were young.
“Being a mum is the best part of my life,” she said on Instagram.
“When Steve passed, it was not a burden being a single mum, it was actually my children that gave me purpose, courage, and happiness every day.”
“Bindi and Robert are the reason I can stand strong, meet every challenge, and embrace every adventure.
“As a mother, I am truly blessed.”
Steve Irwin died aged 44, when a stingray’s barb pierced his chest as he was filming an underwater documentary on The Great Barrier Reef on September 4, 2006.
