There aren’t many liquid lipsticks I would stake my life on being fairly hydrating, deep in colour, non-flaky and vibrant for 24 hours straight.

The ColourStay Limitless Matte Liquid Lipsticks, which retail for $27.95 each, arrived on my desk earlier this week with claims it’s transfer-proof with a 24-hour no-budge hold.

Some of the softer pink colours can be somewhat wiped off with a forceful swipe of a tissue but you’ll really need micellar water to remove the deeper berry tones, as I discovered come bedtime.
It’s the kind of lipstick that would be perfect for big events when you don’t want to be worried about re-applying but also don’t want to live in fear that the matte shades have “cracked” on your face.
You can pick up the new lipstick from Chemist Warehouse now or at all other leading retailers from February 15.
