Purple Wiggle John Pearce and his wife Jessie have revealed they are expecting their first child together.
On Thursday afternoon Pearce shared a video showing the moment they learned Jessie was pregnant, along with a photo of an ultrasound.
“It has been a long journey, but our beautiful angel has finally been sent to us,” Pearce wrote.

“We are so full of joy and can’t wait to meet you 🩵.
“Baby Adamo Pearce due Dec 2024.”
In the video, John and Jessie were in a car when they received a phone call confirming Jessie was pregnant.
“Hi Jessie, we’ve got your results, is now a good time?” a woman asked.
“Yes, now’s good!,” Jessie said.
“First of all, congratulations Jessie, that result has come back with a positive, you’re pregnant!”
“We got … we got a baby!” Pearce said, both overcome with excitement and shock.
The happy news follows Red Wiggle Caterina Mete’s announcement earlier this year that she was pregnant with identical twins.
Pearce and his wife, a luxury fashion buyer, have been married since 2019.
Pearce first captured hearts as a member of the Australian pop music sensation Justice Crew before joining The Wiggles in 2021.
His legion of fans and followers took to social media to congratulate the pair on their happy news.
“Congrats John and Jessie! You’re going to be wonderful parents 🥰,” the official Wiggles Instagram posted.
“The absolute greatest gift! Huge congratulations 🤍,” added Sunrise presenter Sam Mac.
“The most beautiful news!!!!” Caterina Mete wrote.
“So excited and happy for you both! Sending you all the love in the world!
“How lucky will my little girls be to have a little buddy to play with.”
Many other Wiggles members chipped in to congratulate the pair.
“Congrats John and Jess! What wonderful news you are sharing with us,” wrote Yellow Wiggle Greg Page.
“Johnny and Jess ❤️❤️❤️” added Blue Wiggle Anthony Field, while fellow Blue Wiggle Lucia wrote: “My heart is exploding!”
“Such beautiful souls with the most amazing news!,” wrote Yellow Wiggle Teshay Hawkins
“You two are going to be incredible parents!!! 🥹 Biggest love and congratulations to you both.”
Red Wiggle Simon Pryce added: “Congratulations. How exciting. ❤️”
And fellow Purple Wiggle Lachy was also over the moon at the news.
“Ohhhhh Jess and Johnny!!! Wow! Congratulations!!!!! 💜💜💜💜” he wrote.
