Princess Mary has shared a solo photo to mark Christmas this year as part of her work for the foundation that bears her name.
The Australian-born Crown Princess of Denmark was seen smiling from a snowy street all rugged up in a coat and shawl.
Mary returned to Australia for an early Christmas with her 12-year-old twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine before her husband Prince Frederik and Princess Isabella, 16, joined them.

Their oldest son Prince Christian, 18, is not making the trip due to exams.
“We need each other if we want to succeed,” part of Princess Mary’s message through The Mary Foundation read.
“And this does not only apply to working life and to those of us who work to combat social isolation. It applies to all of us. People need people.”
“With the warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. HRH The Crown Princess.”
Notably the foundation releases a solo shot of Mary for Christmas annually, but speculation was fuelled this year following the affair rumours surrounding her husband.
While in Sydney, Mary and her younger children Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge, with photos of the occasion being mysteriously deleted after it was posted to Instagram.
Bridge Climb shared the family photo however it was also deleted.
Mary and her children were spotted travelling from Sydney to Tasmania, where Mary’s family is based, on December 9.
It is believed the Danish royals are to return to Denmark to celebrate Christmas Eve with their eldest son and Queen Margrethe.
It comes after rumours — which have been “flatly denied” — emerged that Prince Frederik was engulfed in an affair with Mexican model Genoveva Casanova when photos surfaced in Spanish publication Lecturas showing the pair.
Casanova, 47, rejected the rumours in a November interview with Spanish magazine Hola! and has indicated potential legal action over the speculation.
“I flatly deny the statements that suggest a romantic relationship between Prince Frederik and me,” the model said.
“Any statement of this type is not only completely untrue but also distorts the facts in a malicious manner.”
Meanwhile, Frederik or the Royal Family have not addressed these allegations.
Frederik’s private trip to Spain fell at the same time Mary travelled to New York from October 23 to 24 as part of an official visit, according to Danish publication Dagens.
Sources close to Casanova confirmed to Dagens that Frederik and Casanova are “simply old friends with several mutual acquaintances”.
Prince Frederik and Princess Mary celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary in May 2023.
They famously met at Sydney bar The Slip Inn during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Mary was 28 and working as a marketing executive when she began chatting to Frederik, then 32.
At first, she was completely unaware he was Danish royalty.
