While some U.S. sportsbooks won’t be taking bets on Taylor Swift making an appearance at the Super Bowl, what about wagering like it’s 1989?

One betting site is paying homage to the superstar’s birth year and breakout record 1989 by creating 89 Swift-related prop bets ahead of her highly-anticipated appearance at next week’s Super Bowl.
BetOnline.ag revealed odds for its 89 Swift props, giving sports fans and Swifties a chance at some big money.
“The Taylor Swift Effect is real as we felt it throughout the NFL season, and now at an exponential level leading up to Super Bowl LVIII,” BetOnline sportsbook manager Adam Burns said in a press release.
“It truly feels like the Swift storylines have become bigger than the game itself, which is just crazy considering this is the most watched event in the world every year,” he continued.

“But if anyone can set a new bar, it’s Swift, and we wanted to do the same with our props menu.”
While much of the topics are solely Swift-related, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is linked to his girlfriend in many of the props.

They’re broken down into five categories:
- Swift Grammy Prop Bets
- Swift Pregame Prop Bets
- Swift Halftime Show Prop Bets
- Swift In-game Prop Bets
- Swift Postgame Prop Bets
In the “Grammy” category, the bets range from what colour gown the Love Story songstress will wear, what awards she might win as Kelce scores a touchdown, to whether the tight end will have more or less catches than his girlfriend’s nomination count.
The “pregame” topics include the odds of Swift mentioning Kelce and the Chiefs at her Tokyo show, if the singer will be seen during the national anthem or while “America the Beautiful” is performed.

Things get political with the website taking bets on whether or not U.S. President Joe Biden and former POTUS Donald Trump will mention the hitmaker.
The “halftime show” bets include the odds of whether or not Usher will a Taylor Swift song, if he’ll give her a shoutout, and who will appear onstage with him during the halftime show.

Other bets include which quarter will Taylor first appear on-screen, if there will be more Swift live shots than catches by her beau, where Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany Mahomes will be sitting, and which Swift song will broadcast break to.
As for the “postgame” bets, there’s everything from a proposal from Kelce to Swift, if kisses and “I love yous” will be exchanged on the field, if Kelce will be named MVP and if the couple will be -150 by Week 1 of 2024 season.
