Police search for two people who ran from deadly stolen car crash near Ulladulla

A teenager has been killed in a crash in the state’s south after reports the car may have been stolen.

The car was driving through the intersection of Woodstock Rd and Kyeena Drive in Woodstock, near Ulladulla, about 6.45am on Friday when it crashed into a power pole.

Police said the car had been reported stolen from a home in Sussex Inlet about 12.30am the same day.

The teenage boy driving the car was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

Another teenage boy, who was a passenger in the car, was also treated by paramedics before being airlifted to Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick in a critical condition.

Police said two other passengers left the scene before their arrival, and a search is underway to find them.

A crime scene was established, and a report is being prepared for the Coroner.
