Naturally, to perform such risky stunts live, the singer and her team have a series of secret signals in place in case of an emergency.
While the average punter would rarely detect the signs, one such signal became clear to all when disaster almost struck.
In 2010, the singer had a big on-stage blunder when she launched into a barricade and was taken to hospital.
Video from the night shows the singer preparing to perform So What, the final song of her Funhouse concert in Nuremberg, Germany.
Attaching herself to a harness with two dancers assisting, the singer was quick to notice that something was not quite right.
Pink made an X signal with her hands — but it was too late.
She was aggressively pulled by the harness towards the crowd before falling into the barricade.
The singer was heard saying “No” repeatedly during the incident.
After the artist was swiftly taken off stage and put in an ambulance, she jumped onto social media to assure fans she would be ok.
“To all my Nuremberg fans — I am so so so sorry to end the show that way. I am embarrassed and very sorry,” she said on Twitter at the time.
“I’m in (an) ambulance now but I will be fine.”
Later in the night, Pink shared another update that there were no serious injuries.
“Ok all my lovers out there — nothing (is) broken, no fluid in the lungs, just seriously sore. I made that barricade my b****!!!!” she said.
Despite this incident, Pink has managed to avoid other major injuries or mechanical errors.
So she was not impressed when insurance brokers pushed back on some of her stunts in her current Summer Carnival show.
“Many times they’ve tried to say no; I told them that they’re ageist,” she told Daily Telegraph.
“I told them to look at all these dudes in the NFL who do all this stuff that’s crazy, and you insure them.
“But somebody pointed out there are many of them but just one of me and I can’t be replaced.
“But still they didn’t have a problem with it when I was 25, and I’m stronger now — I’m in the best shape of my life.”
To keep in shape, Pink trains three times a day — even while on tour.
“I like being strong. I identify with my core, my intuition and my strength,” she told Women’s Health in February 2023.
“I have wide, big feet, and I joke, ‘The better to kick you with.’ I’m short, close to the ground, fast and agile.
“I could pick up a car if I needed to.”
The performer said she rotated between HIIT classes, strength training with bodyweight and dumbbells, yoga, Pilates, cardio kickboxing, cardio sculpting with medium and light weights and core-specific workouts.
She has been working with celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins for more than a decade, often through her online program.
