“I do everything I can to ensure I can perform for you every night, but after consultation with my doctor and exploring all options available, I’ve been advised that I’m unable to continue with the show tomorrow.
“I was looking forward to being with you and making memories with you and sharing our show with you and am so disappointed that we have to cancel.”
All tickets will be refunded.
“Sending love and health to you all, and I really hope to see you again soon,” she added.
In a statement, the tour promoter said: “Due to illness and after a thorough medical examination, the performance has to be cancelled on doctor’s advice.
“Unfortunately, the concert cannot be rescheduled due to the current tour planning.
“We deeply regret the circumstances and thank you for your understanding. We wish Pink a speedy and full recovery.”
Her next concert is scheduled for Copenhagen this weekend.
Some would-be concertgoers were critical of the decision to cancel the show instead of rescheduling, commenting: “So so disappointed” and that it “would be nice to have a replacement date, even in a year”.
Other fans were more understanding, writing: “We know you would never cancel a show unless it was absolutely necessary” and “Get well soon, health always comes first”.
