Singer Pink has opened up on the rough patches she and husband Carey Hart have been through during their 18 years of marriage, including a difficult 2023.
Taking to Instagram, the 44-year-old, who wed former motocross rider Hart in 2006, penned a raw and honest look at the ups and downs of long-term relationships as the couple celebrated their latest wedding anniversary.

“Love is a lifetime of coming back to the table,” Pink’s post began.
“We almost didn’t make it to this one, well a couple of them, if I’m being honest.
“When I met you, 22 years ago, I just wanted someone that wouldn’t lie to me.
“I didn’t have a clue about commitment, building a life together, intimacy, trust.
“It’s f****** hard.
“But man, if I’m not humbled by the surprise of loyalty, history, forgiveness, and resilience.
“How love rearranges itself and reappears after an empty night or five.
“I’m proud we made it to the other side of this year. I wear our scars proudly.
“You are my stubborn, beautiful, immovable rock.”
Pink went on to say her marriage to Hart was more important than any music award she could ever receive.
“The family we’ve built and the stories we have weaved together and the memories we continue to make are worth more than a thousand million awards that anyone could give me,” she wrote.
“I love you and I love us.”
Pink added the hashtags #18years, #improudofyou and #family.
Fans praised her for her honesty, with many famous followers dropping in to say they loved the post.
“Congratulations. Loyalty, commitment and faith in each other are beautiful,” wrote Beverly Hills 90210 star Shannen Doherty, who recently split with her husband Kurt Iswarienko, claiming that he had cheated on her during her treatment for cancer.
“This post is everything,” added Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel.
“Dream team,” added Australian actress Ruby Rose.
One fan spoke about her own personal experience.
“I love this so much … There were a few times in my marriage that is going 26 years that I didn’t know if we were going to make it,” she wrote.
“We work really hard at what we have. Happy anniversary.”
“I love that that you two are so freaking fabulous together, and everybody has trials, but you two overcome everything,” said another.
“Thank you for showing us your best self, and for being so honest about navigating through all of it,” added a third.
“If this ain’t the definition of marriage, I don’t know what is.”
The couple have two children together, daughter Willow and son Jameson.
Speaking to TODAY in August 2023, Pink said that starting a family with Hart was the best decision she had ever made.
“(Being a parent) just wasn’t on my list of to-do’s,” she admitted.
“I didn’t really want to be a mum.
“But then I had Willow and, man, that saying of ‘watching your heart go walking outside of your body’ — it’s truly how it feels.”
In another interview with Drew Barrymore, she added that her kids loved going on the road with her during her tours — but if they didn’t she’d give it up in an instant.
“’I’ll walk away tomorrow. If that’s what you want, I’ll walk away tomorrow’,” she recalled saying to Willow ahead of her recent Trustfall tour.
But the tour went ahead — so presumably Willow is still OK with her mum also being one of the most popular performers on the planet.
