Pete Evans: Disgraced ex-My Kitchen Rules chef makes defiant ‘return’ to cooking

Disgraced former TV chef Pete Evans has donned the apron once again, years after being ousted from a popular reality cooking show.

The 51-year-old was a staple on My Kitchen Rules, judging wannabe chefs alongside fellow celebrity chefs Manu Fildel and Colin Fassnidge.

However, that all came to an end four years ago when Evans became a prominent anti-vaxxer and was dropped by his sponsors for posting a neo-Nazi meme on social media.

Now, he’s defiantly returned to cooking in a video posted to social media, enthusiastically showing how to prepare a watermelon and shiso dish.

Donning a brown kitchen apron over a black t-shirt, his rugged look was a far cry from how he used to present himself on My Kitchen Rules.

“Spring and summer, for me, is all about celebrating salads! Today, we’re going to do a salad, which you can have on the table in minutes,” Pete said.

“Wow, it’s delicious! Until next time.”

The news comes as he and his partner Nicola Robinson quit their Northern Rivers wellness retreat after successfully securing an offer.

They listed the property in January, and according to Realestate.com.au, it consists of a main house plus seven cabins, which they have run as Evolve Sanctuary.
