Perth mumfluencer Constance Hall has revealed the sad state of affairs that led her extended family to move into her home alongside her husband Denim and kids.
With many Aussies battling the housing crisis, Hall took to Facebook to detail the extent to which her inner circle had been affected by the unsettling situation.
“Due to the relentless housing crisis, Denz and I received the welcome surprise of my cousin and her family, who were in need of somewhere to stay,” she commented.

“Obviously, we found ourselves in a little space dilemma as Billie gave up her little loft bedroom and was not okay with bunking in with Arlo.”
In 2022, Hall announced the couple had made the difficult decision to live separately so her partner could heal from a brain injury he suffered in a horrific motorcycle accident years prior.
She revealed earlier this month that he had moved back into the home in November of last year.
In the wake of her cousin’s living situation, the hospitable mother looked to maximise the space in her home to accommodate her new guests.
“We had this old wagon sitting in the dirt driveway that I use as an office, and it just didn’t feel homely enough for a bedroom. A week ago, I told Denz that I figured out that the problem is that it’s just sitting there in the dirt, your feet get dirty and wet when you go into it, it has no electricity, etc., and it’s cold, etc.
“So within the week, he has moved the wagon around (with the help of my cousin’s partner) and reshaped the deck to make it fit in and sit on the side of the house. I’ve done what I love to do and redecorated it.”
“And now everyone’s fighting over it.“
Reflecting on the events, the Perth influencer — who shares her lifestyle and opinions freely on social media — realized that she had achieved what she’d set out to with her partner.
“Today while painting the door green I said to Denz ‘do you realise we are living our dream? Remember the OG dream of building a commune with tree houses and cabins, waterfalls, and skate ramps? Sure, it’s not on acreage, but we are using my design and your skills to turn this little home into a commune that can fit everyone who needs it????’”
“And he put his tools down and came to high-five me.
“Someone once said to me, ‘While there is a roof over my head, there is a roof over yours.’ It was a really kind thing to say, and I never forgot it.
“I can only hope that our home turns the lemons of life into lemonade for those who need it for the rest of our lives.“
