Pendle Hill crash: Trail bike rider dies after losing control and crashing with two cars

A trail bike rider has died after losing control of his vehicle and colliding with two cars.

Police say they were called to Gilba Road in Pendle Hill on Wednesday afternoon on reports of a multi-vehicle crash.

It was established the rider of the trail bike had lost control and careened into two cars.

Paramedics treated the male rider for various injuries.

However, he died at Westmead Hospital.

He is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be a man aged in his late 20s.

The drivers of the other vehicles, a 45-year-old man and a 59-year-old man, were taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
