When it comes to throwing a party, hockey heiress Paulina Gretzky seldom does things in half measure.

From weddings to anniversaries to hubby Dustin Johnson’s victories on the links, there is no first gear for Gretzky.
And for Johnson’s 40th birthday, she pulled out all the stops with an all ranch hands-on-deck bash — including Kid Rock — in a cowboy-themed extravaganza.
On offer for the thirsty were gallons of pricey Casamigos premium tequila. The labels said: “Dustin’s 40th.”
In addition, hides covered the walls and floors of the party palace and in a nice touch, she was delivered to the bash in a vintage Cadillac Eldorado.
And if tequila isn’t your thing, several bespoke cocktails were created for the event.
One was the Buckin’ Bronco, another the Lone Star.
Johnson and Gretzky hooked up in 2009 and became engaged in 2013, with the apparent blessing of her famous father, NHL legend Wayne Gretzky. She was frequently by Johnson’s side at a slew of PGA events.

And since he jumped to the controversial LIV Golf circuit two years ago, she has been his steadfast defender.
The couple married on April 23, 2022 at Blackberry Farm in Tennessee and have two sons.
But it hasn’t always been clear sailing for the high-profile pair.
In March, Gretzky revealed that her husband had received numerous death threats following his defection to the Saudi-backed LIV Golf. Both avoided social media for a time.
“People sending death threats and awful, awful, awful things,” Gretzky said.
“People were aggressive, that’s for sure. But that’s when I shut it down for a little bit. I was like ‘I don’t need to look at this. Everyone has an opinion on it. Fine.’”
After the initial golfquake, the influencer said she is much happier now and is refusing to take “a back seat” to the power couple’s “Old life” on the PGA Tour.

The heavy PGA schedule has frequently been cited by Johnson as one of the reasons he left.
On top of the extra time together as a family — the couple’s sons are Tatum and River, ages 9 and 6 — Johnson has raked in much more cash than could’ve been possible on the PGA Tour.
The former Masters and U.S. Open champion reportedly collected more than $35 million in winnings from his first year with LIV Golf on top of the four-year, $125-million contract he signed to come over.
Despite the death threats, Johnson, who turned 40 on Saturday, said that he has no regrets about his move: “We knew what we signed up for.”
