OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Oklahomans ahead of Father’s Day are looking for unique ways to celebrate and Panera is seeking a simple joke from your loved ones! Panera announced on Wednesday, dad jokes will be accepted as a form of payment for Father’s Day.
According to Panera, Dads are known for their love, support, and, of course, their legendary sense of humor (or lack thereof). To honor these champions of the pun, Panera is turning rags into riches by accepting the dreaded (or beloved?) dad joke as a form of currency this year.
For those looking to share their greatest (dad joke) hits, they can follow Panera on Instagram, like & comment their favorite dad joke on the brand’s Father’s Day post that will go live on Wednesday at 12 p.m. EST.
Winners will receive a $25 Panera Bread gift card towards your Panera faves, like a Father’s Day breakfast Family Feast for four.
