Several packages that are suspected to contain cocaine have washed up on NSW beaches, prompting a warning from police.
Seven packages have been found on beaches between Newcastle and Sydney since Friday night.
The first package was found at Magenta Beach, on the Central Coast, around 8pm on December 22 by a member of the public, who called police.

Police who attended the scene removed the barnacle-covered item.
It was then sent for further examination and testing.
“Police have now been told presumptive testing indicates the package contains cocaine,” NSW Police said on Sunday.
A crime scene was established at Magenta Beach and further searches uncovered another three packages on Saturday.
Similar packages have also since been found at Manly Beach in Sydney’s north and Avoca and Blacksmiths beaches on the Central Coast.
All parcels have been sent for further examination.
Police are now urging anyone who may have seen similar packages to contact their local police.
“The packages recovered so far have had significant barnacle growth covering the outer plastic wrapping,” police said.
“Police are keen to warn the public against removing or opening any of the packages and, if found, to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.”
