Four children and two adults are dead in a Barrhaven homicide.
Ottawa police responded to 911 calls just before 11 p.m. The six victims were found deceased inside a home on Berrigan Drive.
One person is in custody.

Ottawa police say “multiple” people have been confirmed dead as the investigation begins into a homicide in Barrhaven.
Police said just after 11 p.m. that a police operation was underway in the 300 block of Berrigan Drive.
At 2:27 a.m., Ottawa police said officers are on the scene of a homicide.
“With multiple victims confirmed deceased,” police said.
“One additional person has been taken to an Ottawa-area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
“There is no continued threat to public safety.”
Police say officers arrested one person.
The Ottawa Police Homicide Unit is now investigating.
