The James Bond movies may be the longest-running British film series having started in 1962 with 25 outings to date.

Nevertheless, the Carry On series has the largest number of movies of any British film franchise at a whopping 31.

Series regulars from Kenneth Williams, Joan Sims and Charles Hawtrey to Sid James, Hattie Jacques, Jim Dale and Barbara Windsor have had fans laughing since 1958’s Carry On Sergeant, all the way through to 1992’s Carry On Columbus.

And now most of the films have found their way onto streaming via ITVX.
