Police have charged one man and issued a nationwide warrant for another man in the shooting death of 16-year-old Kayelin Rider-Downey of Toronto.

Cops said that on June 15 at 1:49 p.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting in the Glendower Circuit and Birchmount Rd. area.
It was reported that an altercation took place, ending in a shooting with one suspect fleeing the area on foot and another in a white SUV.
Rider-Downey was located a short time later at a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Kevin Lindo, 45, of Toronto, was charged on Wednesday with first-degree murder in Rider-Downey’s death, while a nationwide warrant has been issued for Leon Foster, 29, of Toronto on the same charge.
Foster is 6-foot-2 with a medium build, black hair and a beard. Police said he is considered armed and dangerous.
If Foster is located, do not approach and call 911 instead.
