Seth Meyers on Monday joked that he was now living in the “wrong timeline” after returning to host NBC’s “Late Night” following his Fourth of July holiday hiatus.
Meyers aired a supercut of just some of the wild things that have happened since he was last on the air ― including President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance and calls for him to quit his 2024 campaign, the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling that presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump has total immunity for “official” acts when in office, Trump’s floating of the idea of military tribunals of rivals and his migrant fighting league idea.
Oh, and independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s denial that he once ate a dog and his clarification that he’d never eat one ― nor a human or a monkey.
“Oh, fuck me!” Meyers declared after the montage.
